Warranty conditions

Status: 08.02.2021

1) New devices and their components that are defective due to manufacturing and/or material defects within 3 years from the date of purchase will be replaced or repaired by Conrad Electronic free of charge at its own discretion with a state-of-the-art device. For wearing parts (e.g. rechargeable batteries/batteries, lamps, etc.), this guarantee is valid for 6 months from the date of purchase. 

If you make a claim under the guarantee, please return the item to us together with a precise description of the fault and the invoice:

For customers in Germany and countries not further named:

You can of course also return the item to one of our Conrad branches.

The procedure for returning the product can be found in the service area of our online store.

Irrespective of this, the customer's statutory warranty claims remain valid.

2) This warranty does not apply if the defect is due to improper handling, incorrect installation of the device and/or non-compliance with the operating instructions/manual.

3) Data loss and consequential damage cannot be claimed under this warranty.

4) If a repair or exchange is not possible for economic or other reasons, the customer will be reimbursed the purchase price. The decision on the existence of economic or other reasons that make a repair or exchange impossible is at the sole discretion of Conrad Electronic. With the repayment of the purchase price, Conrad Electronic has fulfilled its contractual obligation.

5) The warranty period does not restart in the event of an exchange or repair.

6) The proof of purchase with the date of purchase is valid as proof of warranty. The warranty is only valid for the buyer and is not transferable.

7) Insofar as Conrad Electronic replaces goods or refunds the purchase price under the warranty, it is already agreed today that ownership of the goods to be replaced/credited shall pass reciprocally from the customer to Conrad Electronic or vice versa at the point in time at which Conrad Electronic receives the goods back from the customer or the customer receives the replacement delivery or the refund of the purchase price from Conrad Electronic.

8) Your statutory rights against us arising from the purchase contract concluded with us are in no way restricted by this guarantee promise. In particular, any existing statutory warranty rights against us remain unaffected by this guarantee promise.

If the purchased item is defective, you can therefore contact us in any case within the scope of the statutory warranty, regardless of whether a warranty case exists or the warranty is claimed.
